During 1998, the Green Mountain Railroad Corporation (GMRC) adopted a brand new logo. The new image reflects our new close affiliation with the Vermont Railway (VTR) through the common adaptation of the widely recognized triple mountain peaks. Jay Wulfson, founder of the VTR, with the help of his growing family, created it with the logo peaks representing the Adirondack, Green, and White Mountain ranges, a true regional symbol!

The tradition continued as Christy Wulfson, with the help of her father David Wulfson, the Railroad's General Manager, created our new emblem.

Our old "Garden Gate" logo, a derivative of the old Rutland Railway symbol, will be respectfully retired, but a long tradition of providing premium GREEN MOUNTAIN GATEWAY SERVICE will continue within our new Vermont Rail System.

Jerome M. Hebda, President, GMRC
