The Green Mountain Railroad's bridge near East Wallingford, Vermont has long been a favorite location for railroad photographers who visit the Green Mountain State. Dating to the mid-1950s and the fabled Rutland Railway, a long standing tradition of green and yellow locomotives leading all trains over the structure came to an end in 1997 when the GMRC became part of the Vermont Rail System. VTR and GMRC GP40s teamed up in leading train #264 over the bridge on June 17, 1999.
